About
Goldelicious Cakes & Jennifer
When I was younger, my mom, a great home-baker, used to bake cakes and cookies, sharing them with her friends and neighbors. I loved her cakes and cookies a lot. So, I naturally became interested in baking.
Growing up in South Korea, I became interested in arts, which led me to majoring in fashion design at the Arts Department of Ewha Womans University and doing internship at a fashion magazine company. Together, those experiences have provided me with extensive skills and knowledge in how to turn my ideas into art objects, which is a great asset to my current baking business.
I started baking after I moved to the U.S in 2014 with my family. Although I started baking for fun initially, it soon became one of my greatest joys because I really like to create works of cake art and to see people getting excited about and enjoying my cakes. For my baking specialty, I’ve developed numerous recipes and my own unique decoration technique that involves using a combination of special ingredients (e.g., Italian meringue buttercream, chocolate, rice papers, wafer papers, isomalt, fondant etc).
What makes my cakes special and unique is extremely soft and moist cake sheets with perfect sweetness and artistic / sophisticated design. To ensure the quality of my work, I only accept a limited number of orders each week and focus on those orders. Goldelicious Cakes also provides customized designs, which will meet my customers' needs and expectation properly. It’s worth noting that our business only uses healthy and fresh ingredients and maintains food safety and quality.
I thoroughly love what I do and believe that, if I love what I do, that joy will overflow into my work. My ultimate goal is to spread love and happiness through my cakes :)
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
